Cimarron Sky Dog Reserve is a wonderful place in Watrous, New Mexico (outside Santa Fe) which Jackie Fleming has set up to provide wild lands for displaced, un-adoptable and rejected wild horses whose only other alternatives would be a lifetime of confinement or perhaps even slaughter. I was lucky to be able to travel to New Mexico in August, and go to the reserve with Gregg Albrecht, for some photo shooting. It's always a magical experience to be with these animals who have been lucky enough to meet Jackie and be a part of her herd.
